In the capital’s Ocean Plaza Mall the first open casting for participating in Miss Ukraine Universe 2017 Pageant took place
Kyiv, June 17, 2017. In the capital’s Ocean Plaza Mall the first open casting for participating in Miss Ukraine Universe 2017 Pageant took place.
The second casting will be held on June 24.
Any young girl aged from 18 to 27 could try to become the main crown’s owner and represent Ukraine at Miss Universe 2017 Pageant. The contestants came from all the regions of Ukraine – Kharkiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Vinnytsia, Kropyvnytskyi, Lviv, Ternopil, Horlivka, Kyiv, and many other cities. In total, more than fifty girls appeared before the jury.
On that day, among the judges were the following:
- Anna Filimonova, Head of the Organizing Committee of Miss Ukraine Universe Pageant
- Anna Rozputnia, fashion model
- Oleg Verniayev, Ukrainian gymnast, World champion, four-time European champion, two-time European champion
- Alexey Diveev-Tserkovnyi, TV presenter, film producer
- Lyudmila Bikmullina, Miss Ukraine Universe 2007
- Tatyana Tucha, TM Lucky Look
- Marina Borshchevskaya, stylist, designer
- Oksana Kononets, Miss Beauty Without Limits.
As it turned out from interviews with judges, future contenders for the main crown of the country are fond of ... football, psychology, snowboarding, archaeology, yoga, and pilates. They professionally play drums, participate in "What? Where? When? " intellectual game and are fluent in English and even German. But the most important thing is that they have a great desire to win the title Miss Ukraine Universe 2017 and represent Ukraine at Miss Universe 2017 Pageant.
“The Organizing Committee of Miss Ukraine Universe Pageant conducted open castings for the second time in a row in Ocean Plaza Mall. We like the format of people's casting, when girls from all over Ukraine can try their hand in contestant selection and make sure that everything is held honestly and frankly. Guests and buyers of the shopping center have the opportunity to see the behind-the-scenes selection of applicants, and watch the show program. They are free to communicate with the members of the jury. This year we have decided to conduct the casting twice - so that the girls could have more opportunities to try their hands" – Anna Filimonova, Head of the Organizing Committee of Miss Ukraine Universe Pageant, tells about the castings.
At the end of the first day of the selection, the contestants received prizes from the partners of the pageant. Anastasia Andreeva became the owner of Miss LuckyLook title. She received sunglasses and a hat from TM LuckyLook as a present, and also she became the face of a new advertising campaign of the brand. Valeria Rudenko became the owner of the precious ring produced by Kiev Jewelry Factory. All the participants of the casting received pleasant gifts from the partners of the pageant: lingerie chain stores Hunkemöller, Kyiv Jewelry Factory, fashion accessories store Lucky Look, shoes shop for queens Milano.
The winner of X-Factor V show Dmitriy Babak, band Lucky4, singer and model Yana Brilitskaya took part in the show program of the first casting.
