The 66th Miss Universe pageant"

The most prestigious international beauty contest Miss Universe 2017 was held on 26 November 2017, at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, United States.

The show was hosted by Steve Harvey and Ashley Graham, while Fergie and Rachel Platten performed.

Contestants from 92 countries and territories, including Iraq, Egypt, Laos, Nepal and Cambodia, participated in this year's pageant.  Ukraine was represented by 18-year-old Yana Krasnikova from Kyiv, who impressed the members of "Miss Ukraine Universe 2017" jury with the performance of the National anthem of Ukraine in English.

Iris Mittenaere of France crowned her successor Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa at the end of the event. The new Miss Universe was crowned by the legendary Mikimoto Crown, worn by Miss Universe titleholders from 2002 to 2007.

The Miss Ukraine Universe National Committee expresses its gratitude to Yana Krasnikova for her great performance at the Miss Universe 2017 final night. Although Yana was not lucky enough to take the prize, we would love to thank everyone, who supported us!
