First national casting for „Go Miss Universe” and „Miss Ukraine-Universe” contest took place

From now on, Ukranian girls have an opportunity to compete for the longed-for Miss Ukraine-Universe crown and title. For a few months applications from single girls aged between 18 and 27 claiming the Miss Universe title were entered to Inter TV-channel website. Total number of sent applications exceeded three thousand. In the meanwhile, a shooting team went all over the country searching for beauties. It resulted in a grand two-day casting held at the Inter. Most prospective she-conquerors of the Universe did not have either any experience as models or contesters. However, there also were candidates who have on their record the participation in a few prestigious contests, photographs on covers of glossy magazines and big podium experience. Nevertheless, all casting participants reviewed by the technical jury had even chances. They had to pass before the jury dressed in swimming suits and to answer their questions. Each participant was briefly interviewed to reveal her intellectual capabilities, telegenicity, diction, presence of sense of humor and complexes. The jury proceeded to select fifteen candidates.
